Through Him, With Him, and In Him

Litany of Humility

O Jesus! meek and humble of heart, Hear me.
From the desire of being esteemed,
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being loved...
From the desire of being extolled ...
From the desire of being honored ...
From the desire of being praised ...
From the desire of being preferred to others...
From the desire of being consulted ...
From the desire of being approved ...
From the fear of being humiliated ...
From the fear of being despised...
From the fear of suffering rebukes ...
From the fear of being calumniated ...
From the fear of being forgotten ...
From the fear of being ridiculed ...
From the fear of being wronged ...
From the fear of being suspected ...

That others may be loved more than I,
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.

That others may be esteemed more than I ...
That, in the opinion of the world,
others may increase and I may decrease ...
That others may be chosen and I set aside ...
That others may be praised and I unnoticed ...
That others may be preferred to me in everything...
That others may become holier than I,
provided that I may become as holy as I should…

St. Joseph Prayer for Protection

O St. Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong,so
prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my
interests and desires. O St. Joseph do assist me by your
powerful intercession and obtain for me from your
Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ,
Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your
Heavenly power I may offer my thanksgiving and
homage to the most loving of Fathers. O St. Joseph, I
never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in
your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near
your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine
Head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I
draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing
souls, pray for us. Amen

Prayer for the Forgiveness of Daily Neglects

Eternal Father, I offer the Sacred Heart of Jesus with
all its love, all its sufferings of and all its merits:

First-To expiate all the sins I have committed this
day and during all my life. (Glory Be)
Second-To purify the good I have done badly this
day and during all my life. (Glory Be.)
Third-To supply for the good I ought to have done
and I have neglected this day and during all my
life. (Glory Be.)

O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I Place My Trust in Thee
